Quiet the mind and let the soul speak
MY CLASSES are based in Saffron Walden and surrounding villages in Essex and Cambridgeshire. I offer a fluid, strength-based, Scaravelli / Vinyasa inspired yoga that gently builds momentum and grounds you in the present. At the heart of my classes is my training with Apanaveda School of Yoga, every movement has intention and an invitation for you to discover the postures in your own way - leading your yoga flow with the breath and intuition.
Each class begins slowly for you to bring calm to the nervous system, before progressing through flowing sequences. We move the body with awareness and control to cultivate strength and balance. Anchoring our movements with the breath, to find a place of focus even through challenging postures. Then ending each class with a meditation or pranayama breath practice to leave you feeling revived and centred.
The classes are designed to be inclusive for all, whether you are a beginner to yoga or practised yogi. Variation for postures are given so that you can find what is best for you.
Alongside the structured flows and postures, I encourage a sense of freedom that gives space for self-exploration and playfulness within the movements. It is your practice to nourish the body and mind, with my gentle guidance.
My classes offers a practice that grounds you in the present, builds strength and flexibility, and allows time for you to tune into yourself to leave feeling calmer and realigned.
Hi I’m Vicky
I’m a YTT certified yoga teacher, living in Saffron Walden, Essex / Cambridgeshire. My journey with yoga has evolved and grown with me since I was a teenager. Admittedly, dipping in and out. But always having it whispering in my ear, calling me back when life has been turbulent. Yoga has and continues to change my life. It has rescued me more than once and brought me joy and connection. Having the ability to share the magic of yoga with others truly fills my heart. Being a student alongside my students as we all learn and have fun in movement, self exploration and navigating the waters of life together.

Monday 6.30 - 7.30 pm

A slow but strong Scaravelli inspired yoga flow class. Moving with the breath and pausing in posture to cultivate strength and calm.
Staring with gentle pranayama (breathwork) to calm the nervous system. Gradually building momentum with salutations / flows, working to balances. Then cooling down and ending with a short mediation.
Posture variations always given to make the class accessible for beginners and more experienced levels.
Smaller classes with 8 max, run in 6 week courses - each class with an independent theme for drop-ins.
Kit provided - Yoga mats and blocks. I advise bringing blankets / a pillow for mediations.

FRIDAY 5.30 - 6.20 PM
A FINE BALANCE SAFFRON WALDEN CB10 1HL
AFB Flow class. Vinyasa inspired flow, moving the body in unison with the breath. But finding a slightly slower pace with time to ground and align in postures.
A shorter 50min class. Spending a little time connecting to the breath to find calm. Before moving through the class in an arc, building momentum through ladder flows and then slowing back down to finish in mediation.
Inclusive for all levels with options and variations for postures given.
